Who produces these ratings

InvestDayTip ratings are produced by Diego Fernández Domínguez, the project's developer and owner of its scoring engine. This site is an information service: no investment services, financial advice, or portfolio management are provided.

What the score is

The score is a statistical 0–100 rating that summarizes five pillars: Value 25%, Growth 20%, Profitability 25%, Momentum 15% and EPS Revisions 15%. Each pillar is scored 0–100; when a datum is unavailable that pillar scores 50 (neutral), and a very low score in a high-impact pillar caps the total at 50.

A high score means the company matches the model's factors on the run's date. It is not a profitability forecast and not a recommendation to buy or sell: ratings are generated automatically, with no manual intervention per ticker, and may contain errors or data-source delays.

Conflicts of interest

The project receives no compensation from issuers, fund managers, brokers or data providers for showing, scoring or ranking securities; the data APIs it uses are services contracted by the project itself. There is no advertising, no affiliate links, and no sponsored deals.

Ratings come from a deterministic model with no manual intervention per ticker. The author may hold personal positions in securities analyzed here. The project does not manage third-party portfolios and does not execute orders.

Full methodology and code

The model's full methodology —factors, normalization, capping rules and its backtest validation— is documented in the engine's public repository (github.com/dfdezdom/investdaytip). The engine version that produced the displayed data is shown in the page header.

Backtests cited in that repository are hypothetical simulations over historical data: past performance is not indicative of future results. The content of this site does not constitute financial advice or an investment recommendation.
